Frequently Asked Questions

At G2 Timepieces, your trust is very important to us. We believe that buying a watch online
should be simple, honest, and straightforward. To that end, we guarantee that every watch we sell is
100% genuine and authentic, unless it is clearly stated to have aftermarket parts (example: non OEM

strap, custom diamond bezel, etc.)

Our mission is to be the leading trusted online source for selling and buying authentic new and pre-owned
watches. We stand behind this authenticity guarantee with a full money back refund on any watch not

found to be completely authentic.

Please be advised that G2 Timepieces is NOT an authorized dealer for any of the brands we carry.
Every watch we sell has been thoroughly examined by our in-house buyer and then fully restored and

serviced as needed by our dedicated service center.

Brand Names/Trademarks:

G2 Timepieces is an independent dealer and is not affiliated with Rolex, USA or any other brands,
nor is it an authorized reseller. Rolex and any other brands are registered trademarks of their prospective

owners.

Every watch we sell generally ships out within one (1) business day of receipt of your
order and verification of received/cleared payment. All USA orders are shipped via
FedEx two-day shipping and are fully insured at no additional charge to the customer
unless discussed otherwise.

There are 3 types of payment that we currently accept.
– Bank Wire
– Zelle
– Cash (for in person deals only)
For anyone wanting to purchase with a credit card, or use PayPal – you can purchase
from our ebay store or chrono24, but the price will be higher to account for their fees.
We are considering accepting credit cards in the future, but haven’t been able to find a
solution that both protects our business, and isn’t a large cost burden to our clients. We
use the pricing options above because it allows us to sell watches for the best possible
price.

Yes, we can ship outside of the USA to many countries – we use a 3rd party insurance service
in conjunction with FedEx, so if we can ship fully insured to your country, we will ship there.
However, any applicable VAT/Import taxes will be paid by the buyer of the watch. G2 Timepieces accepts no responsibility for any kind for VAT/Import tax you may incur. Also, there
will be an additional fee for international shipping as it is more expensive than domestic
shipping.

Yes, we accept trade ins of most luxury watch brands – we will need to see pictures of the
watch, and understand what condition it is in, as well if it comes with the box and papers,
etc. We can then give you an estimated trade in value of your watch. Then, we will provide
a fully insured shipping label for you to send us the watch you are trading in. Once we have
received the watch, it will be authenticated and inspected to make sure it is functioning
properly and is in the condition it was described. If a watch is sent to us and is not as
described, G2 Timepieces reserves the right to adjust our trade in value offer. Once
everything is squared away with the trade in, we will finalize any balance remaining on the
deal (whether that be you are adding cash on top of your trade in, or we are adding cash on
top of a trade).

Selling your watch – selling your watch to G2 Timepieces is a fantastic option. If you have a
watch you aren’t wearing or need cash for whatever reason – we will make you a fair market offer to
purchase your timepiece. Keep in mind, our offer is based on the fact that most of the watches we
purchase are in what we call “pre-loved” or preowned condition, and we need to have them serviced,
sometimes polished, we have shipping costs, and then still need to be able to sell them for a profit –
after all this is a business we are running here and we can’t purchase a watch if there is no profit to be
made. Once we have agreed on a price to purchase your watch, we provide a fully insured shipping
label, once your watch arrives it goes through our thorough authentication and inspection process to
make sure there are no undisclosed issues, and assuming everything checks out – we send payment
within 24-48 hours through your preferred payment method. If during the inspection process there is
an issue with your watch, (it is deemed not authentic, it is not functioning properly, or it is significantly
more scratched/damaged than described) G2 Timepieces does reserve the right to alter the
offered purchase price.
Trading your watch: trading is a perfect option if you are wanting to sell a watch you currently own to
partially or completely pay for a new watch that you are wanting to purchase. We accept trade ins of
most luxury watch brands – we will need to see pictures of the watch, and understand what condition it
is in, as well if it comes with the box and papers, etc. We can then give you an estimated trade in value
of your watch. Then, we will provide a fully insured shipping label for you to send us the watch you are
trading in. Once we have received the watch, it will be authenticated and inspected to make sure it is
functioning properly and is in the condition it was described. If a watch is sent to us and is not as
described, G2 Timepieces reserves the right to adjust our trade in value offer. Once everything is

squared away with the trade in, we will finalize any balance remaining on the deal (whether that be you
are adding cash on top of your trade in, or we are adding cash on top of a trade).
Consignment: Consigning a watch will net you the most money in the sale of your watch, but you will
not receive payment until your watch has sold. We will attempt to sell your watch for the highest price

possible for you, and we will charge a small percentage of the sale price. First, you send
us details and pictures of your watch. We discuss what price would be a good price to list the watch for.
When we agree on the list price, we will send you a fully insured FedEx shipping label, and a
consignment agreement for you to sign outlining the terms of our consignment deal. Once the watch
comes in, we will take our professional photos, list it for sale, and get it sold. If we receive any offers
below the listing price, we will call and ask if you would like to accept the offer or decline. Once we have
the watch sold, you will receive the net payment after our consignment fee. To see what our
consignment fee structure looks like, please see the next FAQ.

If you'd like to take the hassle out of watch buying, consider hiring me to do all of the leg work for you! With a non-refundable 15% or $2500 deposit (dependent of watch value) toward the final price of the watch; I will find you the best match based on your search parameters. If after 60 days I am still unable to find the piece, I will refund your deposit.

The fee includes any outbound shipping costs, as well as in-house inspection and.

It does not include if your watch needs a service or polish to be sold, the cost of that would come out of the net proceeds of the sale after the consignment fee is taken.

Disclaimer*** We will never polish/service a watch without consent from the consignor.
